    It is hard t say the first day f schl in the United States because when the first day f schl is and what happens n the first day f schl usually are different by districts (地区).


    The first day f schl fr many schl districts in different states is n the day after the first Mnday in September.In sme ther schl districts, schl begins in mid­t­late August.Fr example, the Denver, Clrad schls g back in mid­August and schls in Cleveland, Ohi start back usually ne week befre the first Mnday in September.The Bstn, Chicag, New Yrk City and San Dieg schls start back n the Tuesday r Wednesday after the first Mnday in September.


    Schls in Cleveland, Ohi used t start the schl year n the day after the first Mnday in September, but in the 1976-1977 and 1977-1978 academic years, the schl year was affected by several bad snwstrms, extremely cld.In the 1978-1979 schl year, the Ohi Department f Educatin mved the start f the year t late August, ne week befre the first Mnday in September.This went int effect in the 1980-1981 schl year.
