"A beautiful field f flwers can be a rather nisy place.It's just that we can't hear the sunds." Scientists at Tel Aviv University have cnducted a six-year experiment，prving that plants make nise in certain stressful situatins.
Plants prduce a high frequency （频率） clicking sund，and when shrt f water，r damaged，the clicks becme far mre regular.They als made different sunds，depending n whether they were thirsty r injured. "Each plant and each type f stress is related t a specific sund，" said Prfessr Lilach Hadany，wh led the research study.
