Many facts suggest that children are verweight and the situatin is getting wrse, accrding t the dctrs. I feel there are a number f reasns fr this.
Sme peple blame the fact that we are surrunded by shps selling unhealthy, fatty fds, such as fried chicken and ice cream, at lw prices. This has turned ut a whle generatin f grwn-ups wh seldm ck a meal fr themselves. If there were fewer f these restaurants, then prbably children wuld buy less take-away fd.
There is anther argument that blames parents fr allwing their children t becme verweight. I agree with this, because gd eating habits begin early in life, lng befre children start t visit fast fd shps. If children are given fried chicken and chclate rather than healthy fd, r are always allwed t chse what they eat, they will g fr sweet and salty fds every time, and this will carry n thrughut their lives.
There is a third reasn fr this situatin. Children these days take very little exercise. They d nt walk t schl. When they get hme, they sit in frnt f the televisin r their cmputers and play cmputer games. Nt nly is this an unhealthy pastime, it als gives them time t eat mre unhealthy fd. What they need is t g utside and play active games r sprts.
The abve are the main reasns fr this prblem, and therefre we have t encurage yung peple t be mre active, as well as steer them away frm fast fd shps and bad eating habits.

    A. frceB. guideC. divideD. cver

The team caught up with Kenny and Franchesca after 48 phne-free hurs. “Ww, it was pure suffering,” Kenny jked. “Thugh life with n phne wasn’t easy,” he admitted, “it had benefits. I felt less stressed because I didn’t have t be invlved.” Sure, Kenny missed his friends, and he was sad at times. But he als felt relief frm the cnstant texting. Instead f texting, Kenny went t the gym and caught up n schlwrk. He said that the first night he slept fr 10 hurs. He als spent time sitting with his family and talking. “I felt clser t my parents,” said Kenny.
Franchesca had an even happier result when she put away her phne. “I lved it!” she said. “I was ging t the gym and hanging ut with friends and playing basketball. I had a wnderful experience.” She slept better t, and she decided t cntinue the experiment fr a while. “I think I’ll be s much smarter and healthier,” she explained. “Everybdy in the wrld shuld try it.”

The students start wrrying abut the results. And when we wrry, it actually uses up attentin and memry resurces(资源).
Prfessr Beilck and anther researcher, Gerard Ramirez, have develped a pssible slutin. Just befre an exam, highly anxius test-takers spend ten minutes writing abut their wrries abut the test.

Next, the researchers used yunger students in a bilgy class. They tld them befre final exams either t write abut their feelings r t think abut things unrelated(不相关的) t the test. "What we shwed is that fr students wh are highly test-anxius, and wh'd dne ur writing interventin(干预), all f a sudden there was n relatinship between test anxiety and grades. They were perfrming just as well as their classmates wh dn't nrmally get nervus in these tests."
