    On June 3, the United States Fish & Wildlife Service(USFWS)annunced that it wuld prtect the triclred bats. The animal wuld be listed under the Endangered Species Act. This fllws a similar annuncement, made in March, t prtect the endangered nrthern lng-eared bats. The tw kinds f bats are in danger, mainly because f an illness called white-nse syndrme(综合症).
    “Bats play such an imprtant rle in keeping a healthy ecsystem.” USFWS directr Martha Williams said. “But white-nse syndrme is destrying bats.” she added.

Cncepts Plástics, the Clmbian cmpany that Kamp read abut nline, recycles plastic waste and turns it int big, Leg-like bricks(砖)fr building schls and huses.
    Next, Kamp went t Clmbia t learn abut the cmpany in persn. He tured schls that were built with its bricks and the factry where the bricks were made. “Cncepts Plástics gave us a slutin.” Kamp said. He thught it culd help with mre than just the plastic prblem. It culd als imprve children’s educatin.
    Accrding t UNICEF, 1.6 millin children in Côte d’Ivire dn’t g t schl. One reasn is that there aren’t enugh classrms. Fr kids wh d g t schl, classrms are ften very crwded. Kids ften sit n the flr and can’t stand up because there isn’t rm t mve arund.
    In 2018, UNICEF built its first classrms in Abidjan, using bricks prduced in Clmbia by Cncepts Plástics. Right away, the lcal educatin imprved a lt.
