    每个名词性从句在句中的作用是什么?
    名词或名词短语可以在句中充当主语、表语、宾语、同位语。当这些名词或名词短语由一个句子替代时,就是名词性从句。名词性从句(Nun Clauses)是在句子中起名词作用的句子。根据在句中不同的语法功能,可以把名词性从句分别称为主语从句、宾语从句、表语从句和同位语从句。
    what/whatever、wh/whever、whm、whse、which/whichever, 在从句中作成分(如:主语或宾语)。例如:Wh will g t the party is still unknwn.(主语从句,wh在从句中作主语)The questin is what we can d t prtect the envirnment.(表语从句,what在从句中作宾语)Yu can ask whever yu trust.(宾语从句,whever在从句中作宾语)
    名词性从句的引导词可分为三类。
    when/whenever、where/wherever、hw/hwever、why。在从句中分别作时间状语、地点状语、方式状语和原因状语。例如:When the train is ging t arrive is nt infrmed.(主语从句)Scientists are trying hard t find ut where the crnavirus cmes frm.(宾语从句)That is why I can’t g with yu.(表语从句)
    that、whether、if、as if、as thugh、because。不充当从句的任何成分,即它们引导的从句是完整的。例如:That she was chsen as ne f the nurses t g t Wuhan t help in the fight against COVID-19 made her parents bth wrried and prud.(主语从句,that不能省略)The fact is that he is ld enugh t g t schl.(表语从句,that一般不省略)He is hesitating abut whether he shuld tell her the truth.(宾语从句)He felt as if he had gne back t 20 years ag.(表语从句)
    此外,it作形式主语和形式宾语时,一般将替代它的主语从句和表语从句后置。例如:It is reprted that seven peple have been seriusly injured in the accident.(it作形式主语)I leave it t yur wn judgement whether yu shuld d it.(it作形式宾语)
    主语从句、宾语从句、表语从句所使用的引导词大体相同,但有些仅常用于某种名词性从句,如because,as if,as thugh仅常用于表语从句,whether和if均可用于宾语从句,但在主语从句和表语从句中一般只用whether。
    引导宾语从句的that常常省略,特别是在非正式语体中。如:Her tutr explained that she was suppsed t read lts f infrmatin t help frm a wise pinin f her wn. I think (that) this life-changing experience is certainly wrthwhile, and I hpe (that) my child will study abrad in the future.
