Why does the Leaning Tower of Pisa（比萨斜塔）in Italy lean（倾斜）? It leans because of mistakes.

In 1173, the people of Pisa in Italy wanted to build a bell tower. They wanted it to be the most beautiful bell tower in Italy. The city also needed a bell tower because the church did not have one. When they finished the first floor, the tower started to lean. Builders tried to make it straight again, but they couldn't make its top leaning. It took almost 180 years to finish the tower. After that the tower leaned about one millimeter（毫米）every year. Today the Leaning Tower has 8 floors and is 54.5 metres tall. No technology is per feet, each invention has advantages and disadvantages, as these three examples.

When we dream about the future, many of us like to think that we will be able to exit our garage（车库）and take to the skies in our own personal flying car. The advantages are clear. This technology would allow total freedom of movement. We could fly at 480 km per hour, avoiding traffic lights, busy roads and speeding tickets.
