These days, videos of"diving grandpas" from north China's Tianjin are popular on the Internet. In the videos, they jumped off the Shizilin Bridge into the 7--meter--deep Haihe River. However, on Wednesday, they announced that they would give up the sport.
With an average age of 60, the diving grandpas have much experience in diving. They started as a group of local diving lovers. They went swimming in the city's rivers, and later they tried their hand at divin g. The hobby has now lasted for more than thirty years.
Videos on the Internet have drawn lots of tourists from across the country to the Shizilin Bridge over the Haihe River, where "diving grandpas" perform diving. However, some inexperienced divers, trying to follow "diving grandpas", have met with accidents and got themselves injured. Some of the grandpas have begun volunteering to keep order for the crowds that come to see the perfonnance on the bridge. However, accidents still continued to happen. As reported, members of the Blue Sky Rescue team in Tianjin said that they rescued 14 people at the risk of drowning or other injury in just two days.
The grandpas then made a difficult decision. They stopped diving off the bridge. They also prevented inexperienced locals and children as well as tourists from diving from the bridge . At lunchtime recently, Sha Jinyuan, 22, sent a WeChat message to her meal partner, or fandazi, asking, "What to eat?" After her pa 面 er replied with "don't know", Sha said, "Let's just go!"
Are these two people friends? No, they are dazi, or activity partners for specific pursuits, such as playing games, taking classes, traveling, or hiking and camping. Dazi now refers to a new kind of social connection with the aim of pursuing shared interests, rather than developing lasting friendships.
Early last month, a study of 1,335 people conducted by China Youth Daily's social survey center found that
72.6 % said they had one or more dazi. More than half of them said they go for meals with a dazi, while over 30% seek dazi for sports, travel, learning and playing games. More than 20% have dazi for shopping or walking their children.
The survey carried out last month found that young people seek dazi to share similar interests, to accompany them or share costs, expand their social circle, and to motivate, monitor and help one another. Some young people search for dazi because their lives are too fast-paced and their social circles too small.
Xu Kun, an expert at the 12355 hotline for youth psychological coun selin（g 咨询）and legal aid in Dalian,
said: "Young people enjoy doing things together. With less responsibility and pressure, the two people concerned get along more easily. "This is why young people these days are enthusiastic about fonning dazi circles," Xu said.
"A dazi relationship not only meets young people's social needs, but also reduces the basic costs in terms of time, energy and emotion required to keep a close relationship," Xu added. In this new kind of relationship, less responsibility gives people more freedom, but may also cause some problems. After all, dazi circle is quite different from real friendship, as some experts pointed out.

The zoo allows us to observe the wild animals without actually going to the wild places. It's an enjoyable and educational experience for us, but is it the best environment for the animals?

While the debate about having zoos continues, new opportunities to meet wildlife are being explored, such as using virtual reality, and Jon Coe, a zoo designer, told the BBC: "Taking a walk through a herd of elephants in the Serengeti, I think, is going to be possible pretty soon."

These days, videos of"diving grandpas" from north China's Tianjin are popular on the Internet. In the videos, they jumped off the Shizilin Bridge into the 7--meter--deep Haihe River. However, on Wednesday, they announced that they would give up the sport.

(2) 读后续写评分以 15 分为参考线,根据续写内容的连贯性,情节的合理性以及语言质量定档给分,然后以该档次的要求衡量、确定或调整档次,最后给分。第一段只需简略写出我意识到自己错误的过程。详细展开后可以写以下内容：我看到食物的反应、读到的便条上的内容、我的感受和我的想法及做法…… 只要言之有理,均可接受。第二段主要应写出作者带着苹果派上门承认错误的经过和感受。详细展开后可以写以下内容：我鼓起勇气敲门、Bob 看到我后的反应、我向Bob 承认错误、Bob 是如何回应的、我的感悟……言之成理即可。升华好的可以酌情加分,但不做硬性要求。
(3) 评分时,应注意的主要内容为:与所给短文及段落开头语的衔接程度;内容的丰富性和首句关键词的衔接情况;语法结构和词汇的丰富性和准确性;上下文的连贯性。
(4) 重点关注续写完整度,结尾处有升华,可加 1~2 分。(关于升华,不要出现几个抽象词就简单加分,要上升到正能量层面的完整表达,要出彩,因为这是加分项,不能滥用。)
(5) 不足 120 词扣 1 分;对词数没有上限,即超词不扣分。
(6) 如果仅续写一个段落,三档中位 12.5 分为上限,在此基础上相应扣分。
(7) 拼写与标点符号是语言准确性的一个方面,评分时,应视其对交际的影响程度予以考虑。英、美拼写及词汇用法均可接受。
