　family名词，此处意为“家；家庭”，还可指“家庭成员”，其具体用法如下：
①、家；家庭，谓语动词用单数
②、家庭成员　谓语动词用复数
　Her family is big. 她的家庭很大。
　Her family are all tall.　她的家人个子都很高。
2、Those are my parents.那是我的父母。（教材第7页1a) 考频：★★☆
(1)、those指示代词，意为“那些”，是that的复数形式；“Those are…”意为“那些是……”，是“That is…”句型的复数形式。
　Those are my friends. 那些是我的朋友。
　That is my brother. 那是我的哥哥/弟弟。
【拓展】
“These are…”意为“这些是…”，是“This is…”句型的复数形式。
　These are my grandparents.这是我的（外）祖父母。
This is my mother.这是我的妈妈。
(2)、parents(a person's father and mother)名词，意为“父母”，作主语时，谓语动词用复数形式，其单数形式为parent,指父母中的一个人，意为“父（母）亲”。
　My parents are doctors.. 我的父母（都）是医生。
3、Who's she?她是谁？（教材第7页1a) 考频：★★★
　　who疑问代词，意为“谁；什么人”。本句是由who引导的特殊疑问句，结构为“Who+be+主语？”，用来询问人物的身份。回答时，应根据人物的性别及主语的单复数选用适当的人称代词。who's=who is。
　　一Who's the girl? 那个女孩是谁？
　　一She is my sister. 她是我的姐姐/妹妹。
　　一Who are you? 你们是谁？
　　一We are his brothers. 我们是他的兄弟。

　　grandmother(the mother of your father or mother)名词，意为“（外）祖母；奶奶；外婆；姥姥”，在口语中常用grandma。

(1)、“Are those?”意为“那（些）是……吗？”，是“Those are…”的一般疑问句形式；“Are these…?”意为“这（些）是……吗？”，是“These are…”的一般疑问句形式。其答语中的主语都用they。

　肯定回答：Yes,they are.
　否定回答：No.they aren't.
　　—Are those your rulers'? 那些是你的直尺吗？
　　一Yes,they are. 是的，它们是。
【拓展】
　“Is this/that…?”意为“这/那是……吗？”，其肯定回答为“Yes,it is.”、否定回答为“No,it isn't,”
　 一Is this your eraser? 这是你的橡皮吗？
　　一No,it isn't. 不，不是。
(2)、they是人称代词主格形式，意为“他（她、它）们”，为人称代词he、she、it的复数形式，在句中作主语时，谓语动词用复数形式(be动词用are)。
　　They are brothers .他们是兄弟。
6、Well, have a good day!嗯，祝你们过得愉快！（教材第8页2d) 考频：★★☆
(1)well感叹词，意为“嗯；好吧”，常用在句首，其后加逗号。
　Well,thank you.好吧，谢谢你。
(2)、have a good day意为“过得愉快”，相当于have a good time。其中day还可用morning、afternoon等替换，其答语用“Thank you./Thanks.”。
　—Have a good afternoon,Mary! 祝你下午过得愉快，玛丽！
　一Thank you. 谢谢你。
(3)、day可数名词，意为“一天；一日；白天”。常用短语：every day“每天”；in the day“在白天”；all day“整天”。
　　He works at night and sleeps in the day. 他晚上千活，白天睡觉。
7.You,too.你也是。（教材第8页2d)　　考频：★☆☆
　“You,too.”是英语中较常见的一句答语，通常表示把同样的祝愿送给对方，相当于汉语中的“你（们）也一样。”。

8、aunt姑母；姨母；伯母；婶母；舅母（教材第10页1a) 考频：★☆☆
　　在英语中，比自己长一辈的，除自己的母亲之外的所有女性都可称之为aunt,其对应词为uncle(舅父；叔父；伯父；姑父；姨父)。当aunt后面接名字时，其首字母应大写。

(1)、本句是一个倒装句，其正常语序为“Two nice photos of my family are here.”。当here置于句首时，句子常用倒装语序，其结构为“Here十谓语动词十主语（名词）.”，句中谓语动词的单复数要视其主语而定。

　　Here is a pen. 这里有一支钢笔。

　 在here开头的句子中，当主语是代词时，句子不倒装，即“Here十主语(代词)十谓语动词，”。
　　Here you are. 给你。
　　Here they come, 他们过来了。
　(2)、here副词，意为“这就是；在这里”，其反义词为there,它们均可用以介绍某人或某物的位置。
　　I am here,我在这儿。
　(3)、photo可数名词，意为“照片”，其复数形式为photos。常用短语take a photo/photos,意为“照相；拍照”。
　　That's an old photo. 　那是一张旧照片。
　(4)、of介词，意为“属于（某人或某物）；关于（某人或某物）”，通常用于表示无生命的东西的所属关系。
　　That is a map of China..那是一张中国地图。

first此处用作序数词，表示顺序，意为“第一”。序数词前面要加定冠词the,但若序数词前有形容词性物主代词时，则不再用the。

(1)、next此处用作形容词，意为“下一个的；接下来的”；还可作名词，意为“下一个；接下来”。

(2)、picture可数名词，意为“照片；图画”，其复数形式为pictures。

【辨析】picture与photo
　　picture　不仅指拍摄的“照片”，还指“图画；图像”

3）、使用指示代词的注意事项
(1)、当名词前有指示代词修饰时，其前就不能再用冠词或形容词性物主代词。

(2)、电话用语中的指示代词：指代自己用this,指代对方用that。
　一Who's that? 你是谁？ 一This is Daming.我是大明。
(3)、在回答指示代词作主语的一般疑问句或特殊疑问句时，答语要用it代替this或that,用they代替these或those。
　一Is this your mother? 这是你妈妈吗？
　一Yes,it is./No,it isn't. 是的。/不，不是。
一What are these? 这些是什么？
　一They are apples. 它们是苹果。
