Giraffes

According to Wikipedia, a meme is an idea, behavior, or style that spreads from per son to person within a culture often with the aim of conveying a particular phenomenon，theme or mean ing.
The word meme was created by British biologist Richard Dawkins in his 1976 book The Selfish dene where he put forth the theory. The world is a greener place than it was 20 years ago. Recent IN ASA satellite data (2000 〜2017 ) have shown that human activities in China and India dominate this greening of the planet, thanks to ambitious tree- planting programs in China and intensive agriculture(集约农业）in both countries.
The researchers from Boston University found that global green leaf area has increased by 5 percent in the new century, an area equal to all of the Amazon rainforest. The greening from crop lands in China is about 32%，but that in India is about 82%.
Rama Nemani, a research scientist at NASA' s Ames Research Center and a co-author of the study said, “ When the greening of the Earth was first observed，we thought it was due to a warmer，wetter climate and fer- lilization (施肥）from the added carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. But with data from NASA satellites, scien tists realized that humans are also contributing, which was all against our expectations.
Nemani sees a positive message in the new findings. “Once people realize there is a problem, they tend to fix it，”he said. “In the 1970s and 80s in India and China, the situation around vegetation loss was not good. And today you can find large underground shopping centers in China, Japan, South Korea and Canada as well. Some countries also build underground factories and shop-houses to hold things.
Joyce Rinker has an underground house in Michigan. One day in February, the outside temperature was a cold -22℃, but the temperature inside his house was a warm 16℃. The next year, in July, the outside temperature was a hot 42℃, but the temperature inside was a comfortable 22℃.
