Speaker One: Although the kids are under great pressure at school or at home, it is important for them to help their parents do chores at home. It is not enough for kids to just get good grades. They need to learn some living skills so that they can take care of themselves when they grow up and move out.

Speaker Two: Many kids help parents to do chores in the house. They may take out the rubbish,walk the dog or sweep the floor. In return, they may get money or other gifts from their parents, such as twenty minutes to play computer games.

Speaker Three: Doing chores is good for a kid’s development. It helps develop children’s independence and get the idea of how to look after themselves. It also helps their parents to have a chance to rest after work. Then the parents can have more time for proper communication.

Speaker Four: There is no need for the kids to do housework now. Parents just need to let the kids do their jobs as students. They already have enough stress from school. It is parents’ job to provide a clean and comfortable environment for their kids.
