    在句中作定语的主谓结构叫定语从句。被定语从句所修饰的词被称为先行词;关系代词有5个:wh 指代人,在从句中作主语;whm指代人,在从句中作宾语,通常省略;whse “谁的”,既可以指人,也可以指物,在从句中作定语;which指代物,在从句中作主语或宾语;that既可指代物,也可指代人,在从句中作主语或宾语;关系副词有三个:when指代时间名词,在从句中作时间状语;where指代地点名词,在从句中作地点状语;why在从句中作原因状语,先行词为reasn。

    4.如果先行词是表示地点的名词,关系词应用where(作状语)。
