辨析anything和 something   

1.anything和 something意为“某事，某东西”，anything常用于疑问句和否定句中，something常用于肯定句中。 

e.g.:(1)I saw something in the room.  我在房间里看见了个东西。

(2)I didn’t see anything in the room.  我在房间里什么也没看见。

2. anything还可用于肯定句中，意为“任何东西、任何事”。

e.g.: I’m hungry. I’ll eat anything.    我饿了，随便吃什么都行。
