本单元要求学生学会用情态动词must,could,might and can’t表示推测的用法.要求学生根据相关的信息、背景或前提进行预测或续写。本单元主要的目标语言有Whose T-shirt is this? It must be ….It could be ….It might be ….It can’t be ….这是本单元的第一课时，主要是进行听、说的训练。

学情分析

本班的学生基础较差，大部分学生存在厌学情绪，根据这一现象，为了吸引学生的注意力，本人采用游戏和引用名人明星的图片相结合的办法进行教学。                   

 教学目标

1.To learn must,might,could and can’t for making inferences.

2.To listen and speak making inferences.

 对各学习小组进行评比，让学生自己选出表现好的小组进行表扬，并鼓励发挥欠佳的小组继续努力。

教学反思

在本节教学中，学生猜谜语的时候大多用到must,而could，might和can’t用得较少,应该引导学生尽量用到所有目标语言来make inferences.另外，学生参与教学的积极性有待提高，由于学生的基础较差，在今后的教学中应该多运用教学游戏，特别是把一些学生感兴趣的话题引用到课堂上来，以提高学生的积极性，尽量让学生在课堂上多开口，增强学生自信心
