    The Chinese player Deng Yaping is a leading figure in the field of ping-pong.
    She began to play ping-pong with the help of her father at the age of five and she joined the Chinese National Ping-pong Team in 1988. From then on, Deng took part in many international matches and won great success. She won 14 world champions and had been an Olympic champion four times.
