1. alud adv. 大声地;出声地【辨析】alud, lud 和 ludly(1)alud强调出声,如:read alud 朗读(不是默读),还常含有“使别人能听见”的意味,但同shut,cry等词连用时表示“大声地”。 The by cried alud. 这男孩大声哭喊。
(2)lud为形容词,意为“响亮的;大声的;喧闹的”。Tell the children nt t make lud nise.告诉孩子们不要大声吵闹。
此外,在非正式用语中,lud还常作副词,几乎总用于lud enugh, as lud as等短语中,或与t,s,very等词连用,还常用比较级。Dn’t play yur music t lud. 你播放音乐声音别太大。Speak luder, please.请大点声说。
(3)ludly为形容词lud的常用副词,有时含有“喧闹、打扰他人、令人讨厌”的意味。与作副词的lud是同义词,有时可互换。She screamed as ludly (=lud) as she culd. 她声嘶力竭地尖叫着。
