Lessn Sixteen
Smetimes, we write abut tw events that happened in the past. The first f these events tk a lnger time t cmplete than the secnd. The secnd event then happened during the first event (befre cmpletin).
当有时，我们会写下过去发生的两件事。第一个事件比第二个事件要花更长的时间来完成。第二个事件发生在第一个事件期间（在完成之前）。
The past cntinuus tense is used fr the first event (which tk a lnger time t cmplete) and the simple past tense is used fr the secnd event (that happened during the first event).
