    在英语中,为了使语言简洁、紧凑、重点突出,常常省略句中的一个或几个成分,这种语法现象称为省略。
    一、词法上的省略—不定式结构中的省略
    = 1 \* GB3 \* MERGEFORMAT ①在同一个句子或联系紧密的对话中,为了避免重复,作宾语或补足语的不定式再次出现时,不定式符号t后面的内容常常被省略,只保留不定式符号t。此类省略常用于动词refuse, wuld like/lve, wish, want, hpe, expect, intend, plan等以及形容词afraid, happy, glade, willing, ready等之后。如:

    状语从句的省略
