    2022届大一轮复习小专题训练语法系列(16)答案及解析

    1. B。连接代词what在名词性从句中有双重功能:一是引导功能,引导主语、宾语、表语从句;二是替代功能,在从句中充当主语、宾语或定语。句意:一些人眼中的缺点是别人眼中的优点。从句中缺宾语,只能用what来引导。

    2. B。连词that在名词性从句中只起连接作用,不作句子成分。句意:狄更斯喜欢他自己的小说David Copperfield的部分原因是小说创作非常贴近他本人的真实生活。从句不缺成分,因此用that来引导。

    3. B。句意:一个人旅游多么享受很大程度上取决于他和谁去,无论是他的朋友还是亲戚。根据句末的whether his friends or relatives可知应是和谁去,故用who

    4. Awhere在名词性从句中既起引导作用,又作从句的地点状语。句意:这就是我不同意的地方。agree 是不及物动词,所以用where 引导表语从句。

    5. C句意:上次我们玩得愉快的时间是我们参观水上公园的时候。

    6. CIt occurs to sb. that ...是固定句型,意思是某人突然想起……,其中it是形式主语,that引导主语从句。

    7. Cthat引导同位语从句用来解释说明名词news的具体内容。that在同位语从句中不担当任何成分,后面所跟的是一个完整的句子。

    8. C。宾语从句中谓语动词take缺少宾语,排除选项B;而选项A暗含某个范围;选项D指人,都与题意不符。

    9. D。句意:起初他讨厌这份新工作,但是他决定让自己先适应几个月,看它是否好转。此处if表示是否

    10. Cwhetherif都可以引导名词性从句,都表示是否,但下列情况下只用whether:一是引导主语从句并位于句首,二是引导宾语从句并与or not直接连用,三是引导表语从句,四是引导同位语从句,五是与不定式连用,六是位于介词之后。句意:我真的担心是否伤害了他的感情,但我真的不是故意的。

    11. C。本句中they thought 是插入语,忽略后不难发现what引导宾语从句,在从句中作主语。

    13. Dwhat在这里引导主语从句,选D项。此题要注意变化:去掉第二个is,则答案是B. It;第二个is改为逗号,则答案是A. As

    14. Atake great trouble to do something表示不辞辛劳地做某事。在此,what引导的宾语从句同时是一个感叹句,what修饰名词trouble。而how在感叹句中修饰形容词、副词或动词。

    15. C。后半句意为:不管玛丽和我之间发生什么事都与你无关。whatever引导主语从句作主语,表示不管什么事;而whoever表示不管是谁whichever不管哪一个,哪一些wherever只能引导让步状语从句。

    16. A。本句含有ask sb. for sth.短语。这里________ used the products是个宾语从句,从句中缺少主语,并且指人,所以用whoever

    17. B。句意:尽管大约有两千名病人服用过这种药物,但是,它会带来什么样的副作用还不确定。side effect意思是副作用,还原主语从句中的主干是the medicine will bring about _____ side effect。故选择what作定语。

    25. Awhat great trouble是感叹句,中心词是名词,故用感叹形容词what

    26. B。宾语从句应用陈述语序,引导词要位于句首。

    That用法面面观

    请先欣赏这一句话:

    The teacher said that that that that that student used in the diary is a pronoun.

    许多学生看了之后是丈二和尚摸不着头脑。其实该句包含that的不少典型用法:

    1. that用作指示代词,表示那个人/,用于远指,和this相对应。如:

    What about that book you borrowed from me last month

    He didn’t attend the meeting. That is because he was ill.

    2. that用作替代词,代替上文出现的不可数名词或单数名词。如:

    The price of rice is higher than that of flour.

    3. that用作关系代词,先行词是人或物,在句中作主语、宾语,有时可以作表语或方式状语。如:

    He talked about the teachers and schools that he had visited.

    Is there anything that I can do for you?

    4. that用作连词,引导主语、宾语、表语或同位语从句,其特点是that只起连接作用,不作句子成分。如:

    The teacher pointed out that Tom was not working hard enough.

    The idea that he holds is very common nowadays on campus.

    Supposing that you were in my position, what would you do?

    5. that也可用作程度副词,相当于so。如:

    I can’t believe he was that good an actor.

    I’m sorry, but I hadn’t realized the situation was that bad.

    6. so that引导目的状语从句,表示为了,目的是或者结果状语从句,表示以至于。如:

    He worked hard so that he might catch up with the others.

    7. so…that…引导结果状语从句,表示如此……以至于……”。如:

    They started so early that they might arrive in time.

    8. in that有两个用法:一是表示因为,后接从句,二是表示……方面。如:

    Criticism and self-criticism is necessary in that it helps us correct our mistakes.

    9. now that表示因为,既然,相当于since。如:

    Now that they have taken matters into their hands, the pace of events has quickened.

    回头再看文章开头提到的那句话,第一个that用作连词,引导宾语从句;第二个和第五个that是指示代词,表示那个;第三个that作从句的主语;第四个that是关系代词,引导定语从句。
