    情 态 动 词can,culd,may 的 用 法
    一、情态动词can 和culd 可用来表示某种能力,译为“能,能够”1. 表示脑力或体力上的能力。Can表示现在的能力,culd表示过去的某种能力。 eg: She can sing that sng in English nw. eg: He culd carry all these bxes when he was yung.
    2. be able t 也可用来能力,但两者有区别。 be able t 有多种时态且be动词的形式也很多变。如 was/were able t, am/is/ are able t, will/shall be able t eg: With the help f yu, I was able t finish my hmewrk. eg: I am able t swim well nw. eg: We will be able t speak English well after practising mre.
    二、情态动词can、culd、may也可以用来表示许可。情态动词culd 表示一种委婉语气,比can表达更有礼貌。May较为正式 eg : Can I brrw yur pen? eg : ---Culd I smke here? ---Srry , I am afraid yu can’t. eg : May I cme in? can表示推测或客观上的可能性。 ---Smene is kncking n the dr. ---Wh can it be?
    情 态 动 词 的 句 型
    肯定句: 主语+情态动词+… eg: He can swim.2. 否定句:主语+情态动词+nt+… eg: He can’t swim. (can’t=can nt)3. 一般疑问句:情态动词+主语+…? eg: Can he swim? 4. 肯定回答 Yes, 主语+情态动词. 否定回答 N, 主语+情态动词+nt. eg: Yes, he can. N, he can’t.
    1. 在对情态动词的一般疑问句做肯否回答时,用情态动词来问,要用情态动词回答。 eg: ---Can yu speak English? ---Yes, I can. 类似的句型还有:be动词来问,用be动词来回答。助动词来问,用助动词来回答。 eg: ---Are yu able t swim? ---Yes, I am. eg: ---D yu have a car? ---N, I dn’t.

    问题1:如何判断感叹句中的引导词是hw还是what呢?
    步骤1:断句,即:先找出句子的主语和谓语,把句子分为两个部分。(谓语以be动词或实义动词常见)步骤2:找中心词,即:前半句的中心词若为名词或名短,那么就用what; 若中心词为形容词或副词,就用hw.
