Step1: lead-in (brainstrming）
1. 展示带有定语从句的谚语（用多媒体展示课件）

设计意图：让学生拓展知识的同时，观察这些句子，引导学生思考激发学生的兴趣。

Task1.Readingand finding
1. Ask the students pen the bk and turn t page 26. Then ask students t g thrugh the passage. Wrk in grup t find ut sentence that cntain Attributive Clause.

小结：引导学生找出课文中的定语从句，在以课件的形式呈现给学生，让他们观察这些句子，引起学生的注意，激发学生的思考，再给予归纳总结，这些定语从句是由wh, that, which, whse关系代词引导的。
Step3 Summary f the Attributive Clause
定语从句的相关概念
1．定义：在复合句中修饰名词或代词的从句。
2．先行词：被修饰的名词，代词或整句话。
Eg: There was an earthquake which happened in Tangshan in 1976.
（先行词）（关系代词）

3．引导定语从句的：关系代词，关系副词
引导定语从句的关系词
关系代词：wh, which, that, whse
关系副词：when, where, why

指代人：wh, whm, that 指代事物：which，that
所属关系：whse
指地点：where 指时间: when 指原因：why

4. 定语从句的实质
1）I have an apple. The apple is red.
I have an apple that/which is red. (定语从句)
修饰先行词an apple
that/which修饰物
2）I like sme friends. Sme friends like sprts.
I like sme friends wh/that like sprts(定语从句)

修饰人 sme friends
小结：在定语从句中如果先行词是物，选择关系代词which/that, 如果先行词是人，选择的关系代词是wh/that/whm.如果先行词是所属关系，选择的先行词是whse.运用定语从句能避免句子的重复，使句子清晰，明了。

Step4 Analyzing
The different usages f that, which, wh, whm, whse.
that指人或物在定语从句中作主语和宾语，作宾语时可以省略。
Eg： (1)A plane is a machine can fly.(作主语）
(2)He is the man (that) I tld yu abut.(作宾语)
2.wh指人，在定语从句中作主语或宾语，作宾语时，可省略。
Eg： (1)The man (wh) I talked with is ur teacher.(作宾语)
(2)A persn wh steals things is called a thief.(作主语)

3.whm指人，在定语从句中作宾语，可省略。
Eg：The man (whm) I ndded t is Mr Li.(作宾语)

4，which指物，在定语从句中作主语，宾语，作宾语时可以省略。
Eg： (1)These are the trees which were planted last year.(作主语)
(2) This recrd (which) he is using is made inJapan.(作宾语)
5.whse指人或物，在定语从句中作定语，不可省略。
Eg: (1)This is the little girl whse parents were killed in the great earthquake.(作定语)
(2)We live in a huse whse windws face suth.(作定语)
小结：要判断关系代词在定语从句充当宾语还是主语，要看关系代词之后的定语从句，如果句子有主语，谓语动词，缺少宾语，那么它就充当宾语，如果关系代词之后是谓语动词，它就充当主语，在做题的时候要注意，首先看先行词是人还是物还是所属关系，其次要看关系代词在定语从句中充当的成分，通过总结，区别，分析，就会选出正确答案。

本节课讲的语法是定语从句。定语从句是高一年级刚开始接触到的语法知识，相对与初中的时候学过的时间状语从句，地点状语从句，宾语从句更复杂，更难理解，更容易混乱，我先让学生从学过的本单元中找出定语从句，以课件的形式呈现这些句子，并翻译让他们理解，然后让他们观察，引导他们进行小结，引出定语从句的定义，先行词，关系代词，以及关系代词在定语从句中充当的成分。经过我细心的讲解，分析归纳总结学生接收得还不错，基本上都能够掌握了定语从句的用法，练习部分他们也能够做的很好。
