强调谓语（predicate）

用感叹句来表示强烈的感情，突出说话人的情感： Hw interesting a stry it is! What a beautiful day! 用倒装句（也就是将要强调的句子或被强调的部分置于句首）来加强语气： On the table were sme flwers. （强调地点） Only in this way, can we slve this prblem.

7.强调句型 (sentence pattern)
1. 构成 (structure)
It is /was +强调部分+that (wh/whm) +其他成分
强调除谓语以外的句子成分
They will have a meeting in the hall tmrrw.强调主语 It is they that/wh will have a meeting in the hall tmrrw.强调宾语 It is a meeting that they will have in the hall tmrrw.强调地点状语 It is in the hall that （不用where) they will have a meeting tmrrw.强调时间状语 It is tmrrw that（不用when) they will have a meeting in the hall.
2. 强调句型的注意点

① 主谓一致：被强调部分作主语时，其形式与谓语动词在人称和数上保持一致。

② 人称照应：强调主语用主格，强调宾语用宾格。

③ be前面可加情态动词
强调句型中的be动词和情态动词的结合。句式结构: It may be+ 被强调部分+ that … It must have been+被强调部分+ that … Culd it be +被强调部分+that…? 1．It might have been Jhn ______bught a new bk fr Mary yesterday.A. what B. since C. that D. then 再如：2．It may be next week ______ she leaves fr Tky.
④问句形式：一般问句：Is/Was it + 被强调部分 + that + ----
Is it the dictinary that yu are lking fr?Was it yesterday that he was fired?
What is it that yu want me t d ? Wh was it that tld yu the news?When was it that yu called me?Hw was it that yu succeed?
特殊问句：疑问词+is/was +it +that +-----
I didn’t realize what truble he was in until at that time.It was nt until at that time that I realized what truble he was in.
⑤ 当强调nt…until结构时，必须将 nt until连用,后面接肯定式。
把“It is/was --- that”去掉，如果剩余部分句子结构仍然完整，那么这个句子就是强调句；如果句子不完整，则不是强调句。如： It is true that he nce went t America.　It was at 8 ’clck that he came back.
3. 强调句型的判断
It was midnight _____ he came back. It was at midnight ____ he came back.
It is in the classrm _____ we will have the test.It is the classrm _______ we will have the test.
4. 强调句型高考考点
1）强调句型与定语从句合用，增加试题 迷惑性。
It was n the day when he jined the Party that he was killed. 他正是在入党的那天被杀害的。
5、强调句型中含有状语从句。 It was because he was ill that he didn’t cme.It was since she came here that she began t crying.It is when he fund a muse that he realized it was a dirty rm.
被强调的部分是原因，时间，……等状语从句。
